About

Kawartha Lakes Film Circuit was formed in 2013 by a group of volunteers living in and near Fenelon Falls who wanted to share their passion for movies with the local residents and give the opportunity to experience the world through film. We are proud to be a member of the TIFF Film Circuit.

Films by the Falls is a film series hosted by KFLC in Fenelon Falls, at the Fenelon Falls Secondary School on the last Tuesday of the month, September - May.

Winner -  2017 TIFF Film Circuit Achievement Award

Best Community Promotion of a Canadian Film

We were very proud to receive this award during the 2017 TIFF Film Circuit Summit conference at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In celebration of our screening of Maudie and guest visit with producer Mary Young Leckie, the Kawartha Lakes Film Circuit Committee organized a showcase of local artists’ work, which not only complemented the screening but also providing an opportunity for the audience to support their own local artist community.
